Sumo in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Sumo Association (HKSA) was set up in 1991. It provides sumo training for young people and organises annual competitions. Professional sumo in Japan fight almost exclusively at their own Grand Tournaments, but the HKSA focuses on international sumo wrestling competitions.

They hold training sessions every Saturday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, at the Henry G Leong Yau Ma Tei Community Centre, Kowloon.
