Pacific Basin Shipping's principal activity is the provision of dry bulk shipping services carried out internationally through the operation of a fleet of vessels. Other activities include vessel owning and chartering, investment holding, marine transport activities, forward freight agreement chartering, provision of material supply, ship management services, ship agency services and shipping consulting services. In March, the world's largest handysize vessel operator said it would acquire more dry bulk ships to cope with growing demand for commodities.
