Bachchan will go back to the box

India's biggest film star, Amitabh Bachchan, who reinvented his sagging career through the popular television game show Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, is set to return to the small screen.

Bachchan is in talks with several Indian networks for a variety of shows, including soap operas and non-fiction.

'I plan to take up one, or maybe even more of these offers very shortly,' Bachchan said.

The 64-year-old actor saw his film career plummet in the late 1990s and experienced business troubles with his entertainment company. AP
