WALKING around Hong Kong I see a recurring incidence that frustrates me no end.
This is the use of jack-hammers, or other noisy machinery, by workers, who do not wear anything to protect their hearing.
Despite a well-publicised effort some months ago by the Government concerning ear protection, there seems to be a continuing disregard by workers for their own safety.
