High-end Canadian clothing brand seeks creative talent to play role in global expansion
Canadian fashion house Ports 1961 is looking for a senior web designer to play a vital role in the future success of its e-business projects.
Website designers should be able to take subtle inspiration from a photograph, place or object and translate it into tangible work to enhance the look and feel of a website to the user.
Adrian Pick, vice-president of corporate development and communications at Ports 1961, said: 'Being a part of such a professional team and having a role in Ports' global expansion is a rewarding experience both professionally and personally.'
Clothes designed by the company, which was founded in Toronto in 1961, have been worn by celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Helen Mirren.
'As a high-end fashion company, we always place the utmost importance on our brand's outward image,' Mr Pick said.
The appointee will be based at the company's China headquarters in Xiamen and will control elements of user-interface design and aesthetics for the company's websites.
