Hong Kong is a city where east meets west. This is reflected in the food. My favourite is barbecued ribs. The meat is succulent, with a caramelised, lacquer-like coating. Served with a sweet and tangy sauce, it's a fabulous delicacy.

After a great deal of contemplation, I've realised my tastes are simple: my favourite dish is eggs. Not runny ones or the overcooked ones that look like fluorescent orange caviar, but sunny side ups. I love the anticipation of eating your way through till the middle - double deliciousness!

Definitely sushi. It's healthy, and the pieces are cute and just the right size. I especially like salmon sushi - it melts in your mouth. The mixture of rice, soy sauce and wasabi creates a taste I never get bored of.
