The cuticles on my nails were always so dreadful until I came across Sally Hansen's Cuticle Massage Cream with Apricot Extract, which I use faithfully. It really works but I cannot find anywhere to buy more.

Acuticle Emergency, Mid-Levels

The Dictator rules: If you'd stop whimpering for just one second, I'd be able to let you in on a little secret: the dramatic change you saw was most likely due to your consistent application than anything else. If you just learned to push back your cuticles after you shower in the morning (I hope), you'd see a difference. I preface my answer with this because, well, we couldn't find the cream you mentioned either. If you absolutely must have the Sally Hansen Cuticle Massage Cream, you'll find it at www.cosmeticsolutions.biz for US$5.49 not including international shipping. We also like the nailcare line by Barielle, which is available at some Watsons stores. Joyce Beauty also sells Barielle and staff recommend the brand's intensive cuticle salve, Cuticle Replenisher with Mango Butter (HK$180; shop 307, Times Square, Causeway Bay, tel: 2970 2319). We also like Kiehl's Imperiale Moisturising Cuticle Treatment (HK$155; shop G204, Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, tel: 2376 2921). Other brands worth trying: Jurlique, Bliss, and L'Occitane.

I saw this amazing top in an advertisement for Vertu. The blouse is white or cream (there is a difference, I know, but the photo quality is poor), and the phone is definitely pink. I just hope it doesn't cost millions like one of those phones. Could you possibly find it for me?

Vertually Topless, Stanley

The Dictator: Let me think about that. Yes, I could. And I have. Vertu tells us it's a Chloe top. Browse the racks at Chloe (Pacific Place, Admiralty, tel: 2918 1686). Since the photo shoot took place at the beginning of the year, you may not find exactly the same white (or cream - get over yourself) shirt, but there will be something similar for about HK$6,160 to HK$8,040. And stop embarrassing yourself: the average Vertu phone doesn't cost millions. The pink leather and polished stainless-steel Constellation featured in the advert, for example, is only HK$39,500. Impressed? You can touch it at the new Vertu store in Tsim Sha Tsui (shop OT 208A, Harbour City, tel: 2118 2036).
