When travelling for business, comfortable non-creasing trousers and knit pieces eclectically mixed with a men's style jacket/coat, and ballet pumps by Repetto and Alaia. What do you wear on weekends? Easy clothes such as jeans and comfortable knits/jerseys with flat pumps or flip-flops. Basically, non-restricting clothes that allow me to have fun with my daughter. Favourite fashion designers? Yohji Yamamoto for cut and modernity; vintage Vionnet for draping and details; and Sonia Rykiel for knitwear. Fashion no-nos? Over accessorising or when trouser lengths are too short. Handbag pick for this season? It's always Chanel. It's never out of style and looks great with jeans or dressed up. Favourite shoes designers? Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin. Must-have accessory? A great bra: my personal favourite is French label Princesse Tam Tam. Favourite summer colours? Faded watercolours. Style icon? Kate Moss. Favourite piece of jewellery? My Tiffany heart photo-locket from my best friend, Jennifer. Your fashion style? Vintage pieces mixed with new. Dresses or trousers? Depends on my mood. My favourites are vintage dresses with flats, especially in summer. I like to wear men's style trousers mixed with vintage lace tops to look cool but feminine. Leggings or skinny jeans? Skinny jeans. What's on your wish list? The Padlock watch from Van Cleef & Arpels. Favourite shopping destination? For vintage shopping, Vini Vini in Tokyo, Portobello market in London, and Mies and Souffle in Hong Kong. How many pairs of shoes do you own? Let's just say I can challenge Imelda Marcos' collection. Best place for bargains? Hanjiro in Tokyo. Fashion disaster? Wearing a leotard and matching headband for an aerobic-dance performance at school in the 1980s.
