A well-known public relations consultancy is looking for an expert in technology communications to drive new business.
Edelman Hong Kong seeks an associate director for corporate/technology practice to work with some of the world's best known technology brands. The appointee, who will be based in Hong Kong, will be part of the senior leadership team.
'We are looking for stellar communications strategists and new media professionals with a proven track record and who are ambitious to drive new business for the firm,' said Martin Spurrier, chairman of Edelman Hong Kong. The company, established in 1986, has a staff of 48.
Candidates should have experience managing teams on communication issues and winning new business and clients.
Success hinges on the right mix of background and personality. The ideal candidate would be a creative, inspiring, and flexible senior consultant with four to six years' experience in corporate technology communications.
Applicants should be skilled at maintaining complex international client relationships and working with a high headcount of stakeholders. They should also have a good understanding of the Hong Kong and Asia technology environment, and online space in particular.
Experience in gaming and interactive entertainment would be an advantage, considering the Edelman Hong Kong client portfolio.
