WING Shan International plans to focus on China power-plant operations, with its parent company having no plans to inject more assets. Chairwoman Yip Siu-chun also ruled out Wing Shan branching out into property development. She said it would first make the electricity division more professional, enhancing profit by reducing product costs. At Wing Shan's general meeting, the company, which has close links with the Foshan Government, ratified the acquisition of 90 per cent of a Changxi power station from Wing Shan Enterprises and a rights issue to pay for it. Wing Shan also owns 90 per cent of Power Plant A in Foshan.
