Youngsters plan to be online for the holidays, survey finds Just over 80 per cent of youngsters will spend the summer holiday playing games or chatting with friends online, a Federation of Youth Groups poll of 2,011 people aged seven to 20 has found. Almost 60 per cent planned to spend more than two hours a day surfing the Net, with 15 per cent hoping to spend more than six hours a day. Some 72 per cent said they would spend the holiday watching TV. The federation urged parents to help children make better use of the break. Police swoop on karaoke bars Police and immigration officers arrested 24 mainland women in Tsim Sha Tsui and Yau Ma Tei karaoke lounges and pubs during a 61/2-hour operation that ended at 3.30am.
