Getting cold shoulder from boutique chain

I AM a senior student at an international school, and I am, at present, doing a geography project.

The theme of the project is pollution and students contact companies, look at their business management techniques and, with their co-operation, try to find ways in which they could be more environmentally friendly.

I chose the company Cotton Collection, which has a chain of boutiques in Hong Kong.

I discovered that sales assistants were using more paper than was necessary. The clothes the customer purchased were wrapped in two sheets of white paper and then this package was put into a paper bag.

It is essential that we all use less paper.

The more paper that is used, the more trees have to be felled.
