The world's most popular online search engine, Google, has launched a new feature that allows Web surfers to personalise their homepages.
The enhanced function allows users to make a list of their favourite searches and use software to create their own unique take on the original, basic design of the website.
Samples of the designs are available at hksamples.googlepages.com/index.html
These pages will be competing with other user-created homepages in the iGoogle Design Tools Competition.
The Hong Kong-based competition is designed to encourage young people to use iGoogle.
Cindy Wong from Google's advertising firm, the Hoffman Agency, said: 'iGoogle will provide a useful, interesting and fun method of creating your own webpage.'
