Shoe-sniffing student bound over
1-MIN READ1-MIN
An A-level student who admitted stealing a pair of high heels and smelling them to 'release stress' was ordered yesterday to be bound over on good behaviour for six months. Lau Chi-keung, 19, admitted stealing the shoes, worth HK$300, which had been left outside a flat in Happy Valley on April 30. Eastern Court heard he committed the offence right after finishing a maths exam. Magistrate Winston Leung Wing-chung reminded Lau that he would not have a criminal record if he did not commit a crime in the next six months.
