Helping beauty centre Dermes promote some hair-removal treatment, model/actor Takuya Suzuki reappeared on the scene after an altercation in May with another cocktail regular which resulted in a black eye and charges pressed. At one point, Suzuki (right) feared a champagne glass fragment might have permanently damaged his eye and his appearance. Luckily, it didn't and he recovered. Now, Suzuki says, he's more cautious and low-key when he's out clubbing. 'I do go out at night still but I am very careful now. Like last week I went back to Lan Kwai Fong where I had the 'accident', I just drank there with some friends quietly trying not to draw any attention,' Suzuki said. He is still angry about the incident, however. 'A lot of my jobs were cancelled due to the injury and that's why I am really mad. Especially one of them was a Japanese-language film that I was going to be in and it was delayed because of the injury.' As for his alleged assailant's case, the trial was adjourned until October.
