HK through to junior quarter-finals

Hong Kong will play Canada in the quarter-finals of the team competition at the World Junior Squash Team Championships after sweeping Malaysia 3-0 in the final day of round-robin play at Cornwall Street Park Squash Centre in Kowloon Tong. Annie Au Wing-chi beat Low Wee-wern 3-1 (2-9, 9-3, 9-1, 9-4); Liu Tsz-ling beat Nesserine Ariffin 3-2 (9-5, 9-7, 1-9, 2-9, 9-3) and Leung Shin-nga beat Low Wee-nee 3-1 (9-3, 9-0, 6-9, 9-4). The other quarter-final match-ups are Egypt v France, US v New Zealand and Malaysia v England.
