RDI links with University of Wales for course

RDI Management Learning will introduce an MBA programme to the Hong Kong market in October in conjunction with the University of Wales. The degree will be offered as an online distance learning programme and will include general management courses designed to equip students with modern management skills and the tools to develop and manage products and services at an international level.

Content will include a module called personal skills development. The course aims to develop through the use of different methods students' personal, interpersonal and group skills, such as self-awareness, managing and balancing work loads and cross cultural management.

Managing change in organisations is a module designed to provide students with an understanding of the nature of organisational change and the role of a manager in dealing with change. Students will study and critically review the responses organisations have made to change and design strategies to deal with resistance to change. A module on research methods will train students in research philosophies, strategies and methods associated with management.

Other modules will include financial management, marketing management, operations management, managing human resources and strategic management.

The tuition fee is HK$68,000 and the application deadline is the end of next month.
