China returned to winning ways in the Macau leg of the World Grand Prix women's tournament by defeating the United States 25-18, 25-17, 25-22 in their opening match at the Macau Forum last night. 'We knew the Americans had a good team but we played with a lot of spirit,' said China captain Zhou Suhong. The Olympic champions, who finished a disappointing third in the Hong Kong leg last week, take on the Netherlands - who earlier surprised former world and Olympic champions Cuba 3-1 - in their next match today.
