Star struck

Strong and elegant, the autumn/winter runways were awash with looks reminiscent of bygone silver-screen heroines. Aquascutum has taken this trend one step further with the release of a limited-edition collection of coats that harks back to the stars of the 1930s, 40s and 50s. Each piece is designed by Aquascutum's two heads of design, Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler, and made from fabrics including double cashmere, nappa leather (above right), duchesse satin and the label's trademark Aqua 5. The collection consists of five different styles (HK$19,500 to HK$29,950), four of which will be available in Hong Kong. One of these is the satin trench Leonora (above left; HK$19,500), which is perfect for the evening.
