Lipstick's little sister is making a comeback. Previously pushed to the back of make-up drawers, lip liner is back in demand, but this time it's classier than the around-the-lip outline popularised by Pamela Anderson. Here are some dramatic new lipstick shades for autumn and the latest in liners.

3. Suisse Programme's Celebrity Shine lipstick (HK$160/3.6 grams) features a unique 'plumping' ceramide formula to strengthen your natural moisture barrier. The pink 'blush' shade is a good match for fair complexions. From Sasa stores.
4. Lola lip sheers (HK$190/3.5 grams) and lip pencils (HK$150/0.85 grams) are great if you're afraid to make the leap to bold solids. Try two new colours: 'graceful', a blushing mauve, and 'lovely', a shimmery rose. They feel lightweight but pack a punch, with vitamins A, C and E, and jojoba oil.
