Good music is eternal. Michael Buble demonstrates this once again in Call Me Irresponsible, his third album. He covers tunes made famous by such music legends as Leonard Cohen, Frank Sinatra, Eric Clapton and Cy Coleman - songs you will likely find in your parents' treasured record collections.

Buble, a fisherman's son who grew up listening to his Italian grandfather's jazz collection, was discovered seven years ago. Grammy award-winning producer David Foster heard Buble sing at the former Canadian prime minister's daughter's wedding.

Buble describes his new album as his 'remark on the state of love'. The covers of love songs from yesteryear are accompanied by two new songs penned by Buble himself.

The highlight of the album for this reviewer is Buble's rendering of Eric Clapton's Wonderful Tonight, with Brazilian singer-songwriter Ivan Lins. Both artists sing in English and Lins' native Portuguese. Two musicians a generation apart come together in this classic ballad.

Other artists featured include Boys II Men, in a swinging rendition with Buble of the 1962 pop hit Comin' Home Baby.

Lost is a heartbreaking letter from Buble to the Romeos and Juliets of this world. The last track on the album is Buble's take on Nat King Cole's classic, L.O.V.E.
