Alone is a mildly entertaining Thai horror movie, with a shocking twist towards the end.

Directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun, the film is about a love-hate relationship between a pair of conjoined twin sisters, Pim (Marsha Wathanapanitch) and Ploy.

Ploy died during surgery years earlier, and after the tragedy Pim moves from Bangkok to South Korea to start a new life. She marries her childhood sweetheart Vee (Withaya Wasukraipaisan).

The past is past, until Pim's mother back home becomes paralysed by a strange illness.

The couple return to Thailand to take care of the ailing parent, and Pim begins to experience nightmare-like visions.

Vee consults a psychologist, who says that Pim is on the verge of a nervous breakdown as a result of guilt and remorse.

The truth is more complex than that, and as Pim descends into even greater depths of madness, Vee unveils a terrifying secret about his adoring wife.
