Have the woman lie on her side with one pillow under her head, another between her knees and another in front of her to support her arm.
Keep room temperature comfortable.
Apply an unscented, safe pregnancy oil or lotion to her skin, making sure to warm it in your hands first.
Use long, gentle flowing motions to spread the oil.

For the back, concentrate on the upper back first, stroking away from the spine in slight circular motions. Do the same down towards the lower back.
