I went on an unusual and enjoyable school trip. After a long drive, we reached The Peak, which is one of Hong Kong's most famous landmarks. After doing some sightseeing, we were given an interesting mission: interview tourists in English. I was a bit nervous because I thought the tourists would be reluctant to talk. But everyone was friendly and considerate. We asked them what they thought of Hong Kong and most said they loved the people, the skyline and the architecture. This great experience made me realise that nothing is impossible, and that it all depends on the effort you make. NATALIE Thanks for your letter, Natalie. Congratulations! You have overcome your fear to face a challenge - and come out tops. It's not unusual to find that the things that scare us are often not so frightening after all. While it takes courage to approach a foreigner and speak to them in English, once you've done it you'll realise that it's not so hard after all. Then you can take on new challenges. When something scares you, sometimes it's worth thinking, 'What's the worst thing that can happen?' And often you'll find that the 'worst thing' isn't so bad - and most of the time it doesn't even happen. Step out of your comfort zone and take on another challenge. And if you do, I'd love to hear about it. Good luck! Kate, Editor
