Singer hits back at gossip

Singer Hacken Lee Hak-kan has lashed out at a recent report that he is suffering from depression.

'I got an SMS from a friend who read the article, asking me if I need some medication for depression,' Lee said. 'Why do people have to have such bad intentions towards others? We [Lee and his pregnant wife] are living happily.'

Lee (right) married former Miss Hong Kong Emily Lo Suk-yi last December and there have been persistent rumours that she's pregnant, although the singer has never confirmed them.

An article in Express News Weekly this week suggested that the singer's marriage is deteriorating, citing some of Lee's recent songs, and that Lee was suffering from depression. 'I never imagined people would interpret the lyrics as being about me,' Lee said. 'Not every song I've written
