Cafe des Artistes in Central is having a Georges Lignier wine dinner this evening. The six-course dinner includes roasted Anjou pigeon with porcini ravioli and jus and truffle oil reduction, paired with the Georges Lignier Morey-St Denis premier cru Clos des Ormes 2003; Black Angus beef tenderloin with red wine pepper sauce and ceps, paired with the 2003 vintage of Bonnes-Mares grand cru and Clos de Roche grand cru; and poached pear in red wine and spices with red fruit sherbet, served with the Chambolle Musigny 2004.
