World War Hulk (Comic) He's big, green and angry. The Incredible Hulk is back from exile in outer space and he wants the heads of the men that ruined his life. So why is the green Goliath on a rampage? If your so-called friends had shot you into the middle of nowhere and left you for dead, you'd be mad too. Marvel Comic's 'Illuminati' - Tony Stark (Iron Man), Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Dr Stephen Strange, Black Bolt (King of the Inhumans), Prince Namor (The Sub-Mariner) and Professor Charles Xavier - are the elite of the superhero world. They formed a group to deal with potential threats to the world from other superheroes. Deciding that The Hulk was too much of a danger to humanity, they blast him to an isolated region of space in a spaceship while they figure out a way to cure Doctor Bruce Banner of the Hulk. As the saying goes, out of sight, out of mind, and not-so-jolly green giant is all but forgotten. But The Hulk doesn't just disappear. After crash landing on an alien planet, The Hulk is enslaved and made to fight other aliens. Fighting his way to the top with the help of the Warbound, a group of outcasts, he overthrows the king and becomes the new leader of the planet. He even gets married and his wife is expecting a baby. For once in his life, The Hulk is happy and content. Unfortunately, in comic books there are no happy endings for our heroes. On an interplanetary trip, The Hulk's ship blows up, killing everyone on board, (including his pregnant wife) except The Hulk and the Warbound. Mad with grief, The Hulk and his friends travel to Earth to exact revenge on the men responsible. Find out what happens when an extremely mad Hulk wants to smash Earth's mightiest heroes in World War Hulk and the rest of the upcoming series of Marvel Comics following The Hulk's latest adventures.
