The Mr Hong Kong competition has become a family tradition for one clan. Stephen Wong Cheung-hing (right) was a finalist last year but his younger brother Francois Wong Cheung-fat (left) topped his bro and won this year's contest.

On Monday night, Stephen - now a TVB artist - was strutting his stuff for men's undie label HOM at the Ritz Carlton, while Francois showed up for sibling support. Both were born and raised in Paris but came to Hong Kong to try their luck in entertainment. So far, so tres, tres bon.

'I like the pace here in Hong Kong and I think it suits me better,' Stephen explained. 'I don't like to waste my time watching TV and staying home. I like to work. In France, people can only work for about 35 hours a week and if you do more, it is illegal. Here, you can work three jobs as long as you can handle the load.'

His most difficult challenge recently was acting in a new local serial, Steps, as a male ballroom dance instructor. The daily practising of moves and choreography has made Stephen a big cha-cha fan, while his tight pants are encouraging female viewers to tune in for his lambada.

'I had never learned how to dance before. It did take me longer to learn the steps compared to other actors who have some dance background but it is a very good way to stay in shape.'
