Answering to the audit centre of the board, the person with at least 15 years' experience in internal and external auditing will be expected to direct and control all audit functions based on corporate policies and external regulations.
The professionally qualified individual must have knowledge of the latest corporate governance standards and practices and will be expected to develop corporate governance policies and establish audit policies, practices and plans.
An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills would meet success when dealing with the various levels of internal and external contacts. The objective and analytical leader with strong leadership and management skills will also develop and execute risk based audit plans and advise on internal control systems.
Someone with experience in project management and the construction industry would have an advantage, while fluency in Chinese and English is also a plus.
