A 25-year-old male graphic designer yesterday beat more than 1,200 other entrants to win the top prize in the city's first bra graphic design contest.
Jimmy Ho, a designer with five years of experience in the ad industry, dubbed his green-and-black creation 'Let's Dance Together'.
The design will be manufactured and sold around the world, said Bla Bla Bra, the local underwear maker that sponsored the competition.
The bra competition is not the city's only recent contribution to the cause of better undergarments.
In July, Polytechnic University developed a new system for measuring breasts, which should widen the choice of bra sizes and make the underwear more comfortable.
The researchers claimed that more than 100 measurements were necessary to make a perfect bra that would not cause the wearer discomfort.
