School days are not always the best days of one's life - just ask Raymond, a 13-year-old who was driven to the brink of suicide by the thuggish bullies at his former primary school.

'They always targeted me in the classroom when the teachers were not there. Reeling under a hail of punches and kicks, I clenched my teeth and tried my best to suppress my anger. But it became so unbearable that I contemplated suicide several times and tried to climb out of the classroom window,' said the Form Two student from a secondary school in Yuen Long.

While he no longer suffers serious assaults at his new secondary school, Raymond said he still needs to put up with occasional abuse by 'unfriendly' classmates.

'They sometimes trip me up as I walk along the corridors. I often get pushed and shoved if I accidentally walk into 'their' territory,' said Raymond.
