Not camera-shy

We reported last week that Li Ka-shing did not meet the press at the opening of Chinese University's Li Ka Shing Institute of Health Sciences and suggested that he might have been camera-shy. We wish to clarify that the philanthropist did not attend the media function because he had undergone knee surgery in July related to a golf injury. According to the Li Ka Shing Foundation, following his doctor's advice, Mr Li had taken a break from the greens, reduced his social engagements and tried to avoid public and media events.
