Pooling resources
Weekend breaks at Trisara Hotel (above), Phuket,  exceed the usual exclusive, luxury bolt-hole offerings with the guarantee of a private swimming pool for every guest to enjoy. The only resort in Southeast Asia with  a pool  for each suite and villa, Trisara styles itself as 'a sanctuary of peace and relaxation'.
Its 'summer special'  includes a 90-minute Thai or oil massage treatment    either in its hillside spa or in the privacy of the accommodation. Also part of the deal are breakfast, limousine transfers to and from Phuket airport, and a daily fruit basket.
Summer package prices, available until October 31 for stays of a minimum of two nights, start at US$470 a night, excluding tax, for an ocean-view  room, rising to US$1,365 a night for a two-bedroom ocean-front  villa. Rich man's world
You might like to check your bank balance before jetting off on the Renaissance Koh Samui's exclusive Millionaire Package, complete with private jet transfers from Hong Kong, Singapore or Bangkok.
