The District Court yesterday convicted a man of offering rewards to jailed Australian jockey Christopher Munce for horse-racing tips. Fung Hok-cheung, 47, earlier pleaded not guilty to a count of offering advantages to an agent. His sentencing was adjourned to October 11, pending a background report. The court was told Fung conspired with an anti-graft agent officer named 'Ah Fei' and offered money to Munce between June 16 and July 3 last year.
