A man attacked his neighbour with a knife after being infuriated by his barking dog, a court was told yesterday. Ho Sun-wai, 56, pleaded not guilty in the District Court to two counts of wounding with intent on April 19 at a public housing estate in Sha Tin. The court heard that Ho and his neighbour, Suen Ka-yiu, got into a heated dispute about the dog. During the row, Ho allegedly brandished a 30cm kitchen knife. The dispute then turned violent and Suen subsequently suffered serious wounds to his chest, arm and wrist, the court was told. His pregnant wife and younger brother suffered minor injuries when they intervened and tried to stop Ho. The case continues today.
