Manchester Business School's director tells how MBSW is well placed to achieve its strategic vision
Weighing up the choices offered by universities which run distance-learning programmes is probably the first challenge someone considering an MBA course faces.
For Michael Luger, who returned to Britain from the United States to take up the role of director of Manchester Business School in January, potential MBA students with the Manchester Business School Worldwide (MBSW) will have the advantage of using the resources of the University of Manchester.
'They'll be getting a degree from one of the great universities in the world,' Professor Luger said.
'I think the quality of the instruction is the best they can get in terms of a part-time programme with some of the best faculty. Plus they join a huge network of alumni all over the world, which is a tremendous resource.'
The alumni of MBSW are now well established in Hong Kong since the school's MBA courses were first offered here 15 years ago.
