I am very disappointed with him [Chow Chung-kwong]. In the past, MTR [affairs] - when they came up to Legco, [the] Liberal Party had always ensured a safe passage of their proposals. In the future, when [MTR proposals] come up to Legco, we will take a closer watch.
He should have political wisdom. He has to shoulder the consequences himself.

Because we are very good friends and have a good working relationship, when I heard the news, I felt very disappointed and made some remarks. After soul searching, I realise those remarks were indiscreet, perhaps because I was impulsive. I now solemnly withdraw those comments. Also to Hong Kong citizens and Chow Chung-kwong, I make my most heartfelt apologies.
