The cosmetics industry regularly uses vegetable extracts for their nourishing qualities, and DeclEor has discovered a new one. The brand has taken the extract of Aurone (a shrub found in sunny climates whose leaves have a lemon essence) to use in its first global anti-ageing skin care range, Excellence de L'Age, which is being launched this month. The series combines lipofilling technology, which enhances the natural production of lipids, which give skin its volume and density, with Aurone extract. According to the brand, the extract combined with the lipo-technology helps maintain the plumpness of skin. The product line includes vegetable oils of plum kernel and quinoa - both rich in omega-3 essential fatty acids - and rosemary extract, said to provide elasticity to the skin. The product range includes a Sublime Regenerating cream (HK$1,390), a Divine Regenerating mask (HK$980) and a Regenerating Eye and Lip cream (HK$820).
