It promises to be an eclectic night of spirituality, religion and philosophy. Property market guru Shih Wing-ching (above left) is partnering with Hong Kong's most famous sci-fi writer, Ngai Hong (right), and well-known preacher Enoch Lam (centre), for a public seminar next month at the Convention and Exhibition Centre. The theme is 'human life management', not how to get rich quickly in the property market, so many of his fans could be disappointed. 'I don't have a religion, but I have been reading a lot of philosophy books lately, especially about Taoism,' said Mr Shih, the boss of property agency Centaline and owner of free tabloid am730. 'I don't know what I will end up talking about. Prepared speeches are all fake. I will just try to be genuine and say what's on my mind and talk about what I have been reading. My wife complains I am getting too much public exposure for my own good but this [seminar] is something I think is worth doing.' He said he would leave all the Jesus talk to Mr Lam. Ngai - creator of the popular fiction series Wisely in the 1970s and '80s - will discuss the meaning of life from a sci-fi perspective. Wow, aliens, haunting and time travel - Ngai's favourite themes - with the Bible and Taoism thrown in! This is better than The Da Vinci Code. Book your tickets now (HK$98). The show is on November 23.
