Harbourfront viewpoint

People view one of the exhibits, entitled Emerald Necklace, at the opening of the Central Waterfront Model Exhibition at the shopping mall in Pacific Place in Admiralty yesterday. On display are the three-dimensional models of the four finalist designs chosen from 82 entries in a contest organised earlier this year by Designing Hongkong, a group formed by harbour activists. The winning design of what the entrants believe the future waterfront area of Central district should look like will be picked next month and submitted to the Planning Department for consideration.
