Golden wonder

Samsung Electronics has released what it claims is 'the world's slimmest mobile phone' and the 'ultimate souvenir' to mark the Beijing Olympic Games next August: the Anycall 18K Golden Edition E848 camera phone. The quad-band GSM slider-handset measures barely 10.6mm in depth yet it features a 2.2-inch display and a 2-megapixel camera. Not everyone will receive a gold medal at the sporting event, but E848 users will proudly sport the multimedia phone's reflective, gold-plated surface and the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games logo on its back. The Anycall 18K Golden Edition E848 handset costs HK$2,780.
