It's time to shout 'Henshin!' as you  choose your Power Ranger character from the American  version of the  show in Power Rangers: Super Legends.
Released by Disney Interactive Studios, the release of  this game coincides with the 15th anniversary of the series
'Henshin!' is Japanese for 'transformation'. It's what  Tokusatsu (live action super hero shows) characters like Masked Rider and Power Rangers usually call out before they transform, and turning into your favourite Ranger is exactly what you do here.
Fight, kick, laser shoot, slice and dice your way through hoards of evil minions to  prevent the wicked  Lord Zedd  travelling through space and time  to erase  the Rangers from history.
The game play is a combination of 2-D side-scrolling  fights and  up-down scrolling shooter games.  There are a total of 24 missions for you to fight through.
Play as red, green, yellow, pink, blue or black rangers from any of the 15 ranger shows.  Collect crystals  at each level to unlock new  moves.
There is also a multiplayer  mode that allows players to fight together, so that you can team up with a friend.
Unfortunately,  this mode is restricted to only two players, which is bit of a let-down for  anyone who  had hoped to form their own Rangers team.
Graphics and sound are pretty good, but not as impressive compared to the likes of the Megaman games.  Difficulty level is fair to easy, with  and extremely low likelihood of losing a life.
Like the  TV shows, this  game's cheesy effects and production will appeal only to a select group.
