Nowadays, people use their MP3s, i-Pods and mobile phones  to listen to music. We can  store  our favourite songs in them and  listen to music everywhere we go.
I've been listening to English songs to help me with my  homework.  Listening to English songs is a good way to  improve my English.
Once I graduate from Form Six, it will be harder for me to cope with more English homework.  I have to find  ways to expand my vocabulary and improve  my grammar and listening skills.
Some students find textbooks boring and don't pay attention to their studies. Listening to  English songs can be an interesting and effective way to learn English.

Thanks for your letter, Dennis. I hope that you get the Young Post on Fridays, because we have a special page devoted to learning English through songs. We've teamed up with Radio Three presenter Alyson Hau, who hosts the daily show Teen Time.
Each Friday we publish the lyrics to the song that Alyson will play on the radio that evening. You can tune in to the show - at 9pm - and read along with your Young Post. Alyson will take you step by step through the song so that you understand all the words and expressions.
