Short hair, since I was 17.

My school uniform from the last millennium.
Fashion no-nos?
Skulls, no matter how they're designed. I just don't understand the attraction.
Must-have accessory?
My beloved Kate Spade eau de parfum.
Boot pick for the season?
Chloe's wedge ankle booties, Christian Louboutin's graffiti boots and Marc Jacobs' ruffled ankle boots.
Favourite shoe designer?
Pierre Hardy. I'm eyeing a pair of his silver boots; they're cool and not too over the top.
Flats or stilettos?
I wear flip-flops in summer with almost everything (including evening gowns) and boots in winter.
Handbag pick for the winter?
Dior's Ethnic in black patent leather, Fendi's To You oversized clutch and Katherine Kwei's weaved clutch with rhinestones.
Most cherished fashion items?
I'm a clutch-freak, I collect them.
Most expensive fashion item?
A black diamond ring I bought myself.
Who's your favourite designer?
John Galliano, Haider Ackermann, Olivier Theyskens, Sophia Kokosalaki, Anne Valerie Hash, Azzedine Alaia, husband and wife team Yoon Han-hee  and Kang Jin-young  of Y & Kei ... the list goes on.
Favourite winter trend?
Bow ties, I've always been fond of them. And they're in this season.
What do you buy every winter?
Boots and leather jackets.
What's on your most wanted fashion list for winter?
The Apple iPhone.
Style icon?
Model  Agyness Deyn. She's uber-cool and full of surprises.
High-end or high street?
Both. I go treasure-hunting at the factory outlets in Prince Edward and make my friends laugh when I show off my HK$20 top. I also like to visit flea markets when I travel. Fashion houses' private family sales are great when looking for a  bargain.
Your winter look?
Floor-sweeping, wide-legged jeans matched with a tiny tweed jacket and chunky pearl necklace.
Favourite winter fashion accessory?
Tights in all colours except white.
What kind of coat will you be wearing this winter?
Tiny ones and capes. I bought a purple patent leather cape from D&G, and I can't wait to wear it.
Your fashion style?
Plain Jane (plus or minus).
Your best high-street steal?
A vintage fox fur coat I got in Portobello Road Market a few years ago.
Best-kept fashion secret?
Sham Shui Po, I'd call it my little fashion paradise. I get carried away creating my own DIY costume jewellery.
Name three things you can't do without in your wardrobe
Black, patent leather and metallics.

Rule no1: Know thyself.
