What is your favourite complication? It's the perpetual calendar. Not only because it's very comfortable to have the correct time and the right date, month and day, but mainly because it was the first [mechanical] memory created by man, three centuries before the electronic memory that has become one of the most important features of this century.
What is your favourite material in a watch? Ceramic. Because it is 100 per cent anti-allergic, 100 per cent scratch free, 30 per cent lighter than steel, 100 per cent anticorrosion, and very comfortable to wear as it takes on the temperature of the body instantly.
What do you think is the best innovation of the year? I don't think that there were any major innovations this year, but I do believe that the One Million$BB has proven that a lot can still be achieved with the creativity and innovation in diamond watches.
