Luke Ford stole the 'first' on-screen kiss from 19-year-old co-star Isabella Leong Lok-sze in their forthcoming movie The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.

In fact, it wasn't really Leong's first kiss on screen. That was with Taiwanese teen idol Rainie Yang

Cheng-lin, who played opposite her in Zero Chou Mei-ling's lesbian love romance, Spider Lillies, which opened in April.

'Last time I kissed a girl and this time I had to kiss a guy. It felt very strange,' Leong (right) said in Shanghai.

Ford was impressed by her kissing ability, recalling how at the film audition in Hong Kong, when Leong was asked by director Rob Cohen to kiss Ford, she beat her rivals hands down.

The film, set in Montreal and Beijing, tells the story of father-and-son adventurers Rick (Brandan Fraser) and Alex O'Connell (Ford), who come to Asia and accidentally wake up the mummy of the Emperor of Qin (Jet Li). The emperor has been cursed by a wizard, played by Michelle Yeoh Choo Kheng. Leong plays Yeoh's daughter.
