The MTR Corporation continued to see more passengers on the second day after its merger with the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation. A total of 3.93 million people travelled on the main lines on Monday - a slight 1 per cent jump from a week ago. On the first day of the merger, passenger numbers were 7 per cent higher than the previous Sunday. Also on Monday, four more passengers who were overcharged on a trip between Kowloon Bay and Ma On Shan because of a faulty Kowloon Tong turnstile sought refunds. Another 75 passengers have yet to claim refunds.
