The Hong Kong Polytechnic University said it would make a decision as soon as possible over the incident in which interviewers skipped sampling steps in a government-commissioned survey on the West Kowloon Cultural District. The university yesterday admitted inappropriate judgments had been made. The Home Affairs Bureau said the case would not significantly affect consultation as the telephone survey was only one channel to collect public opinion. The three-month consultation ended yesterday, with about 3,300 submissions received.
