British store Reiss is a favourite among fashion editors for its classic pieces with a sharp edge. Even better, they don't cost a fortune and are higher quality than your run-of-the-mill high-street threads. The brand recently launched in Hong Kong with a store in Times Square and has a new outlet in Tsim Sha Tsui, carrying both men's and women's collections, including evening wear, casual wear, denim, accessories and footwear. For Christmas, women can choose from a range of cocktail dresses such as a purple satin number (right; HK$1,939; patent heels, HK$2,339) and other styles with details such as corsetry and exposed zips and seams. For men, expect plenty of knitwear, including low V-neck cardigans and hooded and oversized striped knitted jumpers paired with knitted jogging pants. Outwear is sporty, with crinkle patent leathers and slim wool coats
