Achievements Annie, 18, won a bronze medal in the girls' individual event at the World Junior Women's Squash Championships in August this year.
She also won a gold medal in the women's individual category at the Hoe Hin White Flower Ointment Asian Junior Squash Championships six months earlier.
In addition, she has grabbed the girls' title at the Asian Junior Squash Championships for two years running.
Perhaps her greatest achievement was in 2005 when she teamed up with three other Hong Kong players to win gold at the Women's World Junior Team Championships - an historic first world title for Hong Kong.
Soundbite 'I took up squash six years ago when I participated in the Searching for New Sport Stars programme in 2001 with my younger brother,' Annie said.
'I didn't know much about squash at that time.
'Playing squash is special and exciting. Moreover, I can play alone or with a teammate. It is quite flexible.
'At first I found it hard to hit and control the direction of the ball. But after I mastered the technique, I started to fall in love with squash. I am attracted by the game's fast pace.
'My strongest point is that I don't give up easily, while my weakest point is that I get too nervous when I compete. I hope I can stay calm during matches.
'I'm going to sit for my Advanced level examinations next year.
'After I take part in all of my overseas tournaments in January, I will spend more time on my studies. I will cut down on my training from four to five times a week to twice a week.
From her coach 'Annie is a smart player. She is more mature compared to others of her age. She is disciplined and hardworking,' said her coach Tony Choi Yuk-kwan.
'I don't want to put too much pressure on her. But if she is willing to work hard, we would like to train her as the second 'Rebecca Chiu' of  Hong Kong.'
Ambitions  'I have not yet decided what I want to do in life,' Annie said.  'Becoming a full-time squash player is one of my options.  It is very challenging.'
